Our process is museum standard of textile conservation

The scarves are cleaned and pressed before being mounted on stretcher frames. They are hand sewn onto a neutral background. The art is to sew the scarves on with stitching that is barely visible to the eye, that doesn’t pucker or pull on the scarf. This technique has been perfected by our resident expert Kitty Morris and team who have been in the textile business for more than 40 years.
